The beautiful expo of the almighty Jean Paul Gaultier! It was so amazing and inspiring! Looking at his first runway collection and already seeing the greatness in him.

What inspired me the most were the mannequins, their faces were projected and moved, talked and blinked! Watch movie:

See the teddybeer in the photo, just had to share it with you, the beer was the first ro wear the cone bra, like the one madonna worn at her 1990 Blond Abition tour also designed by him.

Daft Punk is shining in Saint Laurent on the cover of Dazed & Confused, shot by Hedi Slimane. The Fantastic Duo is already at it’s fourth album Random Access Memories on vinyl and the teaser offers a glimpse of the album, and just a snippet of the opening song, “Give Life Back to Music.”

Queen Bee launched a brand new collection of t-shirts, bags and baseball caps. The T-shirts are different from the ones sold at the concert, but we don’t expect that from Beyonce. She keeps surprises us with her unique and stunning self. Creating unisex t-shirts with different prints and designs, including a kaleidoscopic print of Beyonce as Queen Bee and a shirt with Beyonce smoking a cigar. Or the more simple ones.

We have a new store in town; Sunculture. Ad and Mark, both 24 years old, are sunglasses fanatics, their for started a sunglass(web)store. Selling unique sunglasses from brands around the world. They discovered a few autonome brands, which bring a new and fresh input into the sunglasses market in the Netherlands. Sunculture is a (web)store based in Amsterdam.

And Friday i was part of their opening on the Quellijnstraat 80 with music, food, drink and enthusiastic people. You just have to love these sunglasses, they are amazing! And if you don’t live in Amsterdam, you can buy them online..

Chanel’s Pop Up

For the fourth time, you can visit the Chanel Pop up store in La Mistralée Hotel in Saint Tropez. In the minimalistic Le Mistralée you can set eyes on the S/S 2013 collection and the Paris-Edimbourg Metiers d’art 2012-13 collection.

The interior of the store is amazing; the geometric shapes in the interior design in contrast with the antique parquet floors and white walls. To give the space some natural light the ceiling is made out of glass. In the middle of the room you see the famous hula-hoop Chanel bag and other fantastic designs of Chanel.

Also the visitors can relax in the garden, under a Chanel umbrella.

Beautiful Pictures by the Dutch photographer Koen Hauser. He is known for his intangible body of work flowing between fine arts, fashion and applied photography. Hauser combines old and new techniques and styles, creating contemporary elegance and loves a bit of alienation. In the set of photos the first thing that catches my eye are the lovely rich design fabrics that are just on the model and in the decor created by Vlisco.
